At 7:48 p.m., the driver of a silver Audi A3 collided with a Mercedes S 500 for an unknown cause and then fled. Shortly afterwards, road users reported a striking driving behavior of the Audi on federal road 14 before the car had an accident at the roundabout of the district roads 1030/1024 in Oberjettingen.

The 38-year-old driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Witnesses report that he overtook several cars shortly before the accident and got out of control due to excessive speed, which ultimately led to an overload of the vehicle. After that, the Audi was no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The police suspect that all three incidents are connected to the same vehicle. The Audi was confiscated at the order of the Stuttgart public prosecutor, while a blood sample was taken from the driver and his driver's license was secured. Witnesses are asked to contact the Ludwigsburg traffic police.
