The German volleyball players successfully fought their start in the Nations League (VNL). In the first competitive game under the direction of coach Giulio Bregoli, the players in Rio de Janeiro prevailed 3-0 against South Korea. The sentences ended with 25:17, 25:15 and 25:21. Particularly noteworthy is the performance of captain Camilla Weitzel, who was the most successful attacker of the game with 16 points.
