In the early morning hours there was a terrifying accident on the B64 near Altenbeken! A 21-year-old BMW driver from the Höxter district lost control of his vehicle at around 3:00 a.m. and drove off the street. How this came about is so far unclear.

The young man, on the way towards Bad Driburg, broke through a wild fence, then crashed into a tree and overturned. The BMW finally landed on the roof in the green strip, after another collision with the wild fence. The driver suffered serious injuries and was immediately medical care. The exact cause of the accident is still being determined.
