Storm damage in Schermbeck: Fire brigade fights against falling branches!

Waldaustraße, 46499 Schermbeck, Deutschland - On Wednesday morning, the Schermbeck fire brigade was alerted twice. At 3:08 a.m. it started with an assignment due to "storm damage" on Waldaustraße. A threatening branch that could fall onto the road was the cause of the alarm. Although the operation progressed quickly, the Schermbeck turntable ladder could not be used due to a technical defect. A turning ladder from the Dorsten fire brigade was quickly requested to eliminate the dangerous branch.

The operation was finally completed at 3:37 a.m. after the branch was crushed and removed using a hand saw.
