Serious accident in Lebach: Two women injured in collision!

On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident occurred in Lebach around 5:24 p.m., who seriously injured a 72-year-old woman from Eppelborn. She was on the B 269 with her silver VW Passat when she wanted to turn at the confluence with the L 334 towards a petrol station. In doing so, she overlooked an oncoming 42-year-old driver of a red Mitsubishi Outlander, which led to a serious collision.

Both drivers were seriously injured in the impact, while a passenger in Mitsubishi suffered minor injuries. A ambulance and emergency doctor were quickly on site to provide first aid. The fire brigade and the state company for road construction supported the rescue measures, and an accident appraiser was consulted to clarify the causes. The accident site was closed for around four and a half hours, which led to considerable traffic disruptions.
