On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, an attentive citizen alerted the police at 10:30 a.m.: In the parking lot on the B 9, between the high -distributor circuit and Remagen, a damaged canister with waste oil was discovered! The danger was real because the harmful oil had already penetrated into the ground.

The Sinzig road maintenance department had to act immediately. In order to prevent environmental damage, the affected area was torn open and the critical situation quickly brought under control. The police are now investigating who is responsible for this environmental impact, because such incidents should never be taken lightly!
