In early Saturday morning, May 24, 2025, there was an alarming slump in Vellern. Between 0:40 a.m. and 1:10 a.m. at least two masked perpetrators entered a company on Dorfstrasse. So far, it is unclear whether they have made prey. With their brazen deed, the darkly dressed unknowns could have committed a serious crime.

The Warendorf police are now urgently looking for witnesses! Who noticed suspects on the village street or in the area at the time? Information is requested to the police station in Beckum on 02521/911-0 or by email to poststelle.warendorf@polizei.nrw.de. Any information could be decisive!
