Bielefeld: Drunk drivers stopped without a driver's license!

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, the Bielefeld police stopped a 63-year-old man who was traveling with a BMW 1 Series not approved for road traffic. The driver held at a red traffic light on Westerfeldstrasse when the officers asked him and stopped for control.

In the review, the police immediately suspected that the driver was alcoholic. When they asked him, the man admitted that he had drunk. A preliminary test confirmed the suspicion. As a result, a blood sample was taken from him at the police station. Criminal proceedings are now underway against him, because he also had no driver's license.
