Drug ride in Bielefeld: Motorists throw hashish out of the window!

In a dramatic night incident in Bielefeld Mitte, a 27-year-old driver ignored the instructions from the police on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, and tried to cover up his appeasement. At around 1:00 a.m., the officials noticed a VW Golf who turned from Walther-Rathenau-Straße to Eckendorfer Strasse at an excessive speed. Instead of stopping, the driver turned further into the street on the Stadtholz, where he had to admit to have smoked cannabis while driving and that he does not have a driver's license.

The situation escalated when the police found that there was an arrest warrant against the young man. Fortunately for him, he was able to pay the required amount and thus escaped the immediate start to prison. A blood sample was removed, while the officials prevent all driving tests under the influence of drugs. An acquaintance was called to pick up the VW Golf before the police finally pulled the driver out of circulation.
