Peaceful holidays in Bielefeld: Police protect fans at the cup final!

Bielefeld, Deutschland - The Bielefeld police were in use at the public viewing for the cup final on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, and the promotion ceremony of the DSC Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Both events were largely peaceful, without any noteworthy incidents. This was particularly important after a knife attack burdened the security situation in the city.

The police showed strong presence in the city center and carried out random checks in order to address the security needs of the citizens. The Truck-Korso of the Arminia team on Sunday started on time at 3:10 p.m. and arrived at the town hall without disturbances. The subsequent celebration, apart from the usual pyrotechnics use, was also without special incidents.
