On Monday evening, June 2, 2025, a betting office on Ritterstraße in Bielefeld became the scene of an attack. A masked perpetrator, probably between 20 and 25 years old and about 1.80 meters tall, threatened an employee with violence and a firearm. The criminal called for cash that the employee gave him immediately before he followed the perpetrator's escape route.
