A 48-year-old driver was slightly injured in Bochum on Saturday evening after a collision with a tram. The accident occurred on the Castroper Hellweg at around 7 p.m. when the man tried to cross the track bed to turn. His car collided with the tram driving in the same direction.

The result: the car was no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The property damage incurred is estimated at around 10,000 euros. Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured. The incident again shows how important caution is in road traffic.
