Drama in the old people's home: residents seriously injured at Zimmerbrand!

That night around 3 a.m. the fire alarm system alerted a old people's and nursing home on Willibord-Lauer-Weg in Wuppertal. A 62-year-old resident had caught fire. Thanks to a brave nurse who fought the fire with two buckets of water, worse things could be prevented.

The fire brigade arrived and only carried out ventilation measures and control of the remaining rooms. Unfortunately, the resident suffered severe burns and had to be transported to Bochum to a special hospital for fire victims. The police authorities have started the cause of the fire. The facility remains ready for operation except for the affected room.
