New era for traffic safety: Thomas Franta heads management in the PP Recklinghausen

Police President Friederike Zurhausen welcomed Thomas Franta on Monday, June 2, as the new head of the Transport Directorate in the Recklinghausen police headquarters. Franta, who entered the police in 1998 and gained extensive experience in various police services, succeeds Martin Kirchner. In its new role, Franta particularly emphasizes the importance of traffic safety, both as a family man with three children and through his preference for vehicle technology and automated driving.

Franta has already brought leadership experience from his time in the Dortmund police headquarters. His appointment to the management of the Directorate of Transport, which is responsible for safety in road traffic, is an important step in his career. He is convinced that he can make a valuable contribution to traffic safety work through his technical knowledge and personal experience.
