Pluto TV starts with new transmitters: Pride and horror from June!

Düsseldorf, Deutschland - Pluto TV, the popular free streaming service, is expanding its range of transmitters for the coming month. From June 2, 2025, five new television channels will be available, which are particularly dedicated to the Pride Month. The introduction of this new transmitter falls at a time when the visibility of the LGBTQ+community is increasingly in focus.

One of the highlights is the broadcaster "MTV Pride", which plays music videos from the LGBTQ+community like Lady Gaga, Madonna and Beyoncé around the clock. "Pluto TV Camp" will also start on June 2 and address the camp genre with a colorful mix of queer aesthetics and glamor.

New formats for horror lovers and sports fans

In addition, the broadcaster "Schitt's Creek: Patrick & David" will be available at the same time and will shed light on the romantic love story between Patrick and David from the series of the same name. These offers are supplemented by the new broadcaster "Pluto TV Reality", which will show formats such as "House of Ho" and "Catfish: The TV Show".

But not only the pride topic is a focus. From June 13th, two new horror channels will also be introduced: "Pluto TV Horror series" with well-known formats such as "Todd & The Book of Pure Evil" and "Z Nation" as well as "Pluto TV Spukhaus Horror", which specializes in ghost houses and cursed places.

Another interesting newcomer is the "Red Bull TV" channel, which will start on June 9 and offer sporting highlights, including the "Red Bull Sattelfest", which will be broadcast live from Düsseldorf on June 29th.

Free streaming on different devices

Pluto TV remains free of charge and without hidden fees, which makes the service particularly attractive. Users can easily access the content via smart TVs, streaming sticks, mobile apps or web browsers. The new transmitters are automatically integrated into the existing program and expand the diverse offer.

Overall, the introduction of this new broadcaster reflects the aim of Pluto TV to offer a wide range of entertainment for various target groups. This step comes at a time when the representation and visibility of LGBTQ+content is becoming increasingly important and the streaming offer becomes more diverse, as different platforms and formats show.

A contemporary expansion of the transmitter palette could also attract additional spectators and promote the spread of diverse stories that are in demand in today's media landscape. With this expansion, Pluto TV shows that it is active for an inclusive media landscape.
