Serious accident in Derendorf: Pedestrian of Auto Caught!

On Wednesday morning, a 35-year-old pedestrian in Düsseldorf was seriously injured when she wanted to cross Uerdinger Strasse at a pedestrian festival. A 74-year-old hit the woman with his Opel in the intersection of Uerdinger Straße/Kennedydamm. The exact course of the accident is currently still unclear.

The injured person had to be brought to a clinic immediately with an ambulance where it was treated in hospital. The police have started investigations to clarify the traffic light status at the time of the accident.
