On Sunday evening, June 1st, a 91-year-old woman was victim of a handbag on Burgplatz. Two unknown perpetrators tore the pocket out of his hand from the elderly and fled in all directions. However, the ancient cries of the old lady did not scare several passers -by long after the incident, who tried to pursue the thieves, but without success.

A bold witness, whose identity is still unknown, did everything possible to grasp the fugitive. He chased her with his car, caught up with the perpetrators and took her handbag off the woman. The helper not only brought the 91-year-old back her bag, but also offered her to drive her home. The Duisburg police are now looking for this courageous witness to get more information about the incident and possible information about the perpetrators.
