There was a serious traffic accident in Duisburg on Sunday evening when an 81-year-old VW Golf driver took the right of way to turn a 19-year-old VW Passat driver. At the Wedauer Straße / Eichen intersection, there was a collision in which the 88-year-old passenger of the Golf driver was seriously injured. It was taken to a hospital immediately, but there is no danger to life.

The police blocked the scene of the accident and secured evidence. In the Passat there were three young inmates between the ages of 18 and 19, which fortunately only wore minor injuries. The golf driver now has to deal with legal consequences.
