Cocaine and heroin discovered in the vehicle: Moroccans arrested in Emmerich!

A dramatic blow to drug trafficking occurred early Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025, when the federal police checked a 51-year-old Moroccan driver on Autobahn 3 in Emmerich. This was traveling from the Netherlands in a car approved in Spain and showed irregularities on his vehicle floor.

When searching the car, the officials discovered a terrifying drug bearing: a total of 600 grams of cocaine, 1000 grams of heroin, 2188 grams of a paracetamol-caffeine mix and 3780 grams of an unknown substance were secured. The suspect was temporarily arrested and brought to the Federal Police Inspection Kleve. After completing the police measures, the Zoll investigator Essen took over the investigation.
