Innovation boost for Baden-Württemberg: Start-up BW Summit 2025 starts!

Stuttgart, Deutschland - On June 2, 2025, the start-up BW Summit will take place in the Haus der Business and on Börsenplatz in Stuttgart, which is the central meeting point for the start-up community in Baden-Württemberg. This significant event takes part in 125 start-ups from the region and 39 other players from the start-up ecosystem. In addition, 40 international start-ups and over 350 exhibitors are represented, which underlines the importance of the summit. Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economics, Labor and Tourism, will perform the opening of the summit and emphasizes the role of start-ups as the engine of innovative ability and economic development in Baden-Württemberg.

The event is not only a place of exchange, but also a platform for new ideas and business models. Dr. Hoffmeister-Kraut emphasizes that start-ups make a decisive contribution to adding value and creation of jobs. The start-up funding in Baden-Württemberg has been significantly expanded since 2017, in particular through the State Campaign Start-up BW, which combines actors in regional ecosystems and offers a variety of support programs and competitions.

An important highlight of the event is the state finals of the start-up BW Elevator Pitch, which will take place on Börsenplatz from 1:30 p.m. Until the start of the start-up BW Summit Festival at 5 p.m., which has music, food and honoring the winners of the pitch competition, the atmosphere will be shaped by a creative and dynamic mood.
