Arnsberg youth fire brigade: Action -rich weekend full of adventure!

An exciting weekend experienced 27 young firefighters from Arnsberg, Breitenbruch and Wennigloh at this year's youth camp, which took place from the holiday of Ascension to Saturday. With a varied program of practical exercises and community activities, the participants were actively challenged. The group started with a hike to the Arnsberg fire station, followed by realistic exercises in which they mastered chemical exit, smoke development in garden houses and alarms.

A special highlight was the demanding search for people in the dark on the Rüdenburg, in which three missing people found and an unconscious person had to be looked after immediately. These exercises combined action-packed scenarios with important first aid knowledge that the participants had learned beforehand. These successful days not only strengthened the skills of the young people, but also the team spirit and the community within the fire brigade.
