New head of the Arnsberg children's fire brigade: A look into the future!
The children's fire brigade of the city of Arnsberg has a new leadership style! Main fire chief Sebastian Niggemann was officially appointed the new head today, supported by chief fire brigade Celina Reffelmann as deputy head. This appointment took place in the course of the "day of the honorary department", where fire director Dennis Pingel and Mayor Ralf Paul Bittner also praised the outstanding work of the children's fire brigade.
The children's fire brigade, which was founded in 2016, now has around 150 active members between the ages of 6 and 10. Your meetings that take place once or twice a month offer playful activities such as handicrafts and exploring fire engineering. The aim is to convey important security knowledge to the children in an entertaining way and to promote the sense of community. The new management will be in office for the next six years and has a lot of work to train the future generation of firefighters!
