Transportation in the Hochsauerlandkreis: Children in view for more security!

The district police authority Hochsauerlandkreis has actively participated in the nationwide traffic campaign "Safe.Mobil.leben - Kinder im Blick" today! Over 145 vehicles were carefully examined at more than ten checkpoints, especially near kindergartens and schools. 17 drivers were identified, whose children were not properly secured in the car!

In addition, 12 drivers who made mistakes when turning were too fast or were distracted. These measures are part of a comprehensive Initiative to increase traffic safety for children and to form consciousness on responsible behavior in road traffic. An important goal: to minimize the risk factors such as distraction and false parking and to promote the exchange between different road users. Security has a top priority - for a life without traffic accidents!
