On Friday morning, May 23, a spectacular traffic accident occurred on federal road 64 between Brakel and Bellel. At around 8:15 a.m., an Audi collided with an Iveco transporter, while he drove from Höxter towards Bad Driburg. The 43-year-old Audi driver, who was traveling behind the van, crashed into the vehicle in front for unexplained reasons.

The impact lost control and raced over the opposite lane before he came to a standstill in the adjacent street ditch. Fortunately, both men were spared with minor injuries, but medical treatment was not necessary. However, the Audi is now a total damage and had to be towed. The total damage is estimated at around 30,000 euros.
