Volunteer fire brigade Bedburg-Hau: 14 new members for the assignment!

The Bedburg-Hau volunteer fire brigade has achieved a remarkable success in its membership advertising campaign and won 14 new members, including a woman, for active service. The staffing of the operational department has increased by around 10 percent since the beginning of the year. This commitment is a crucial step to ensure operational readiness.

Today an official “Meet & Greet” took place to welcome the new firefighters. Mayor Stephan Reinders as well as the fire brigade leaders Klaus Elsmann, Tobias Aschemann and Tobias Lamers welcomed the newcomers and presented them with welcome gifts. Klaus Elsmann expressed his satisfaction with the increase in the number of members and emphasized the strong willingness of the citizens to work for the common good.
