A short but violent rain shower made the Detmold Mobil fire department on Sunday! The emergency services were called to the Nordstraße and the intersection to Lemgoer Straße and Potsdamer Weg, where the water could build on the road and the sidewalks.

The full -time staff of the fire brigade immediately jumped into action: Several gully lids were opened to accelerate the water outflow and prevent an even greater flood. Fortunately, the situation relaxed quickly, and the fire brigade was able to give the all -clear after a short time and complete the missions quickly.
