Three perpetrators arrested in Food in Pasewalk!

On May 24, 2025 at 4:30 p.m., the police in Pasewalk were alerted after three people - two women and one man - had tried to steal from a food discounter, such as detergents and coffee. The employees of the market were able to stop the perpetrators in good time, which then fled with a VW Passat without prey. The market remained intact, but a criminal complaint was created and the first search was not successful.

At 7:50 p.m., the supposed escape vehicle was stopped during a traffic control by officials from the Pasewalk police department. There were four Romanian citizens in the car, including two young people and a small child. During the review, the police found that the group was already known for previous theft offenses. In the trunk of the vehicle, the officers found stolen goods worth around 1,200 euros, for which no proof of ownership could be presented. The police are now looking for witnesses - especially from grocery stores that have recently been affected by thefts.
