Ökofen: Lothar Tomaschko resigns from the management!

A significant change is imminent: Lothar Tomaschko will retire from the operational business of Ökofen Deutschland on July 31, 2025. This decision, which was influenced by health reasons, marks the end of an era for the company, which was founded in 1999 by Tomaschko as a founding member. His contribution was crucial to the success of Ökofen, especially in the area of technical training and further development in heating technology. Stefan Ortner, Managing Director of Ökofen Austria, thanks Tomaschko for his decades of dedication and commitment to the company, which he played a key role in shaping, as Baulinks reports.

After his retirement, Tomaschko will remain with the company as a senior advisor. Until the end of the year he will hold selected training courses to pass on his knowledge to the next generations. The training team, which works under the leadership of Roland Ries, will continue to offer training and further education in Germany, which is of great benefit to many employees in the heating technology sector. Markus Knöpfle will take over the management together with Beate Schmidt-Menig, who have been working in the company management since 2009.

A new chapter opens

Tomaschko is grateful for the opportunity to be part of Ökofen's success and is looking forward to his new phase of life, which will allow him more time with his family. “It was a great time,” he concludes, while he will concentrate on the family in the future after immersing himself deeply in the world of heating technology, adds the information from B4B Schwaben.
