Pluto TV brings new transmitters: Pride & Grusel from June 2025!
The streaming service Pluto TV announces an exciting expansion of its program offer, which will come into force from June 2025. As part of the Pride Month, spectators are given the opportunity to discover new channels that are aimed specifically at the LGBTQ+community. The innovations start on June 2 with three channels that offer a colorful mix of music, glamor and queer content.
One of the new broadcasters is "MTV Pride", which presents music videos from LGBTQ+community like Lady Gaga, Madonna and Beyoncé around the clock. In addition, "Pluto TV Camp" is launched, which deals with queer aesthetics and extravagant costumes. A third broadcaster, "Incase it creek: Patrick & David", shows the highlights of the love story between the characters Patrick and David from the popular series "Schitt’s Creek". These offers offer viewers a platform on which they can identify with the culture and experiences of the LGBTQ+community.
New offer in the Horrorgenre
In addition, an exciting addition to horror fans starts from June 13th. Among the new channels are "Pluto TV Horror series", which shows series such as "Todd & the Book of Pure Evil" and "Z Nation", as well as "Pluto TV Spukhaus Horror", who deals with construction and living issues during the day and addresses ghost houses in the evening. This expansion of the program aims to offer a wide range of genres for users.
Another new channel, "Red Bull TV", will be available from June 9th and will show sporting highlights, including the "Red Bull Sattelfest" live from Düsseldorf on June 29. In addition, the transmitter "100% Hotter" will now be provided, which transforms striking looks into natural beauty. In addition to these new formats, the broadcaster "Pluto TV Reality" will radiate programs such as "House of Ho" and "Catfish: The TV Show" from June 2nd.
Pluto TV: A free streaming service
Pluto TV remains free of charge and does not offer its users subscription fees or hidden costs. The offer is easily accessible via smart TVs, streaming sticks, mobile apps and web browsers. The new transmitters are automatically integrated into the existing program so that spectators can access the new content without additional registrations or fees.
In the world of television and streaming, it is important to promote diversity and inclusion for different target groups. The current TV landscape shows that LGBTQ+topics are also becoming more important. Series like "The Last of Us" illustrate the potential of complex queer characters, as Ellie does in her dystopia, where she tells about her romantic past in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Such stories help create visibility and reach a wider audience. More about these topics and other LGBTQ+series can be found in a corresponding article of pop culture.
