Cycling marathon Ostalb Giro: Transport information for the weekend is certain!

Aalen, Deutschland - On Sunday, June 1, 2025, the 1,1th Ostalb Giro Radmarathon takes place in Aalen. Over 1,500 participants have already registered for this sporting event, which is important not only for bike fans, but also for the entire region. In advance, an extensive supporting program in the club home of TSG Hofherrnweiler-Unterrombach is offered on Saturday, May 31st. There, visitors can enjoy the anticipation for the event.

In order to ensure the safety of the participants and spectators, some streets are blocked. The Bohnensträßle from Saturday, May 31, at 12 p.m. to Sunday, June 1, at 8 p.m., is completely closed to traffic. In addition, on Sunday morning between 6.45 a.m. and 7.15 a.m., all access roads to the marathon route in Hofherrnweiler and Unterrombach will be closed briefly, as well as the L 1080 between Dewangen and Forst, which is not navigable from 7 a.m. to 7.30 a.m. Further road closures in the affected areas will be lifted again on Sunday morning after driving through the mass start field.
