Motorcycle accident in Berne: Woman injured - road closed for hours!

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, a traffic accident in Berne occurred around 5:00 p.m., in which a 29-year-old motorcyclist was slightly injured. The biker was traveling on Ollener Strasse in the direction of Lemwerder when a 21-year-old driver who wanted to turn left on a property lost control and overlooked the motorcyclist. Despite an immediately initiated danger braking, the collision occurred and the woman fell with her motorcycle.

Because of the rescue measures, Ollener Straße had to be completely blocked during the mission, which led to traffic disruptions. From 6:00 p.m., the accident site was allowed to be passed again at least on the side. The police have started the investigation into the exact circumstances of the accident.
