In the early morning hours of June 8, 2025, at 3:55 a.m., an alcoholic driver led to a spectacular traffic accident on the A60 towards Bingen. Shortly before the Mainz motorway triangle, the driver lost control of her vehicle. With a breath alcohol concentration of 1.61 per thousand, she freaked out of the road, rammed a traffic sign, several guidelines and the protective plank before the car stopped across the left lane. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed.

After the incident, she was brought to the police station, where a blood sample was taken and the driver's license was secured. Her damaged vehicle was no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. During the clean -up work, the transition to Bingen at the Mainz motorway triangle was completely closed from 04:04 to 4:57 a.m., which led to a detour of the traffic towards Wiesbaden. A dangerous use at night, which urgently shows how alcohol can have dangerous consequences at the tax!
