Adenau, Deutschland - in a solemn ceremony on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, PhK Oliver Reichert was officially presented as the new head of the police inspection (PI) Adenau. The 54-year-old succeeds Ephk Heiko Schmitz, who changes to the Pi Cochem. Reichert looks back on an impressive career that began in 1986 at the Rhineland-Palatinate police.

After completing his training in Enkenbach-Alsenborn and operations at the riot police, he made a career in various police inspections, including the PI Andernach and the PI Simmern. Most recently, from August 2022 to March 2025, he was deputy head of PI Andernach. The handover of the office took place in the barn at the butter market in Adenau, where Reichert is now responsible for security in the region.
