Two motorcyclists in the Wellbach valley seriously injured - rescue helicopter in action!

This afternoon, June 9, 2025, there were two serious traffic accidents on the B48 in the Wellbach valley near Annweiler, which required the use of a rescue helicopter. The first accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. when a 54-year-old motorcyclist collided and fell due to a driving error. The driver complained about severe pain in his legs.

Both motorcyclists who had been involved in accidents were immediately flown to the surrounding hospitals for medical treatment with a rescue helicopter. The exact circumstances that led to the accidents are currently still unclear and are examined by the police.
