Large traffic control: police expose drugs and ensure security!

On Tuesday, May 27th, police forces from several federal states and neighboring countries carried out extensive traffic control on the B51 near Bitburg. A total of 201 vehicles were checked in which drug advances were also used. Vehicles were tested in 13 cases, with eight drivers being suspected of an administrative offense and being able to continue their journey.

In five other cases, the removal of blood samples was ordered and corresponding procedures were initiated. The results of the previous tests are now evaluated by experts in forensic medicine. Despite the large -scale control, there were no traffic disruptions on the B51.
