Serious accident on B9: motorcycle and quad collide with overtaking maneuvers

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident between a motorcyclist and a quad driver on the B9 towards Boppard. The incident occurred around 3:03 p.m. when the two vehicles collided during an overtaking maneuver. Immediate emergency services blocked the road for about 90 minutes, while the traffic of the heavily damaged vehicles was regulated.

The DRK was also on site to supply the injured. Those affected were immediately transported to nearby hospitals. The Koblenz police inspection is now looking for witnesses who can provide further information on the course of the accident. Information can be sent to the police by phone or email.
