Bomb threats at schools in Trier: Police calms the population!

This morning, May 26, the Trier police headquarters received alarming bomb threats that were sent to several schools in the city of Trier as well as in Aach, Bernkastel-Kues and Idar-Oberstein. The threatening mails that are identical to those who were shipped at two schools in the region last Friday understandably trigger concern.

The police and the State Criminal Police Office reacted quickly and, after incoming analyzes, classified the threats as unrealistic. Security has top priority, and when dealing with such threats, it is crucial to immediately inform the police under emergency number 110.
