Terrible accident on the L7: three injured in the event of a frontal collision!

On June 2, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the L7 between Wißmannsdorf and Brecht, in which three people were injured. Two vehicles collapsed head-on: a 44-year-old Seat driver and her 7-year-old child suffered minor injuries while the 18-year-old BMW driver was seriously injured. Firefighters had to free the young woman from the vehicle.

All those affected were brought to surrounding hospitals after their primary care by the emergency services. The Trier public prosecutor has ordered an expert opinion on clarifying the course of the accident. The road was completely closed during the accident recording, but has now been released again. The Bitburg police are looking for witnesses who can provide relevant information on the incident.
