On Monday evening, June 2, 2025, a dangerous incident in Lahnstein caused excitement. Around 9:45 p.m., several police callers reported that a man on Burgstrasse had shot into the air with a pistol. When the emergency services arrived, the perpetrator had already fled a taxi in an unknown direction.
Thanks to attentive witnesses, the police were able to find the 32-year-old suspect a short time later at his residential address.
