On Sunday, June 8, 2025, a motorcycle accident occurred on the K37 near Lütz. A 60-year-old motorcyclist from the Netherlands got into a left turn at 5:28 p.m. due to unadjusted speed and fell. Fortunately, the biker was spared with minor injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital.

During the DRK's emergency services and the Cochem police, his totally damaged motorcycle had to be towed. The incident shows how quickly driving fun can end in a horror!
