In the early morning of June 1, 2025, a spectacular traffic accident with driver escape occurred in Elcherath! Around 5:30 a.m. an unknown vehicle drove, probably a brown BMW of the series 1 Series or 3 Series, on the K 101 and crashed into a fence on the side of the road. The violent impact left visible traces - the right side mirror of the vehicle was badly damaged!

The Prüm police inspection is now urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information on the accidents or the vehicle. If you have seen something, you should definitely get in touch!
