Police strengthen traffic safety: E-scooter and thefts in focus!

The police southeasthesses increased the protective measures for "weaker road users" as part of a large traffic safety campaign in Offenbach on Monday morning. A total of 78 people and 44 vehicles were checked in several ways to school and in the pedestrian zone. Two e-scooters that were advertised for the search were ensured. In addition, an advertisement was filed against two drivers about the suspicion of falsification of documents, and it turned out that some vehicles were on the move without the necessary insurance coverage.

In addition to the traffic controls, a VW Crafter was broken open in Buchhügelallee, with tools worth around 2,500 euros. A blue Hyundai in Elisabethenstrasse was also badly damaged - it is estimated that the damage here amounts to around 3,500 euros. Finally, there was another theft from a construction site vehicle parked in Mühlstrasse, in which tools with a total value of around 9,000 euros were stolen. The police ask for relevant information on these incidents.
