Alcohol ride in Augsburg: Driver becomes aggressive and violates police officers!
In the early Sunday morning, May 25, 2025, an alcoholic toyota driver was stopped in the city center. At 0:15 a.m., witnesses informed the police about a vehicle that was traveling in snake lines. When the officials stopped the car at the Heinrich-von-Buz-Straße/Wertachstrasse intersection, they immediately noticed the 25-year-old driver's smell. The breath alcohol test resulted in astonishing two per thousand - and the worst: he had no driver's license!
After transporting to Bobingen hospital to determine the blood alcohol value, the man was increasingly aggressive and wanted to incorporate the police to bring him home. When he sat on the hood of the patrol car and defended himself to rest against the request, the officials had to intervene. This led to his arrest, with two police officers suffering minor injuries. The incident now leads to serious consequences: the driver is held responsible for drunkenness, driving without a driver's license, resistance to enforcement officers as well as insult and assault.
