Worms, Deutschland - An 84-year-old man from Worms was victim of a sophisticated trick theft on May 30, 2025 when shopping in the Worms shopping park. While he was laboriously rolling to the car with his rollator, a stranger spoke to him around 3:20 p.m. and claimed that his jacket was stormed with ketchup. To help, the perpetrator reached into the seniors' jacket pocket, took out a handkerchief and wiped the jacket off. Then he hastily fled towards the city center.

The shocked man later noticed that he had been stolen about 100 euros. The perpetrator is described as about 30 years old, tall and strong, with light hair that was bound to a small bun. He had a 3-day fulfillment and wore beger clothing. He spoke to the senior with accent -free High German - a scenario that could unsettle so many older people!
