Carpk rim thieves caught in a fresh act-a accomplice flees!

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, a brazen theft occurred on a parking deck in Königsberger Straße. An attentive witness watched two men who dismantled the vehicle rims on a parked car and invited them to their escape vehicle. When the alarmed police arrived, the perpetrators fled towards a nearby forest area.

The police were able to arrest an 18-year-old suspect from the Kaiserslautern district, while the second accomplice escaped undetected. When checking the escape vehicle, the emergency services also found two stolen car indicators. In total, the property damage amounts to around 1,500 euros. The search for the fleeting perpetrator is still in full swing.
