On Saturday evening, May 31, 2025, the Tuning Controlling team from the Koblenz police department carried out rigorous control in the Koblenz urban area. The focus was on tuners, speeders and Poser after residents had expressed complaints. Despite the changeable weather, around 50 cars were inspected, with every fifth control revealed defects that led to the expiry of the operating license.

The consequences were clear: administrative offenses were initiated and the continued trip was prohibited from the vehicles concerned. Surprisingly, the measures with the tuners were still widely accepted. The police announced that they will continue to carry out intensive controls over the course of the season to ensure traffic safety.
