Shock moment in Welschneudorf: serious accident with a motorhome and truck!

On Friday, June 6, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred around 11:40 a.m. in the entrance to Welschneudorf. An 82-year-old man from the Märkische Kreis suffered serious injuries, while an 81-year-old truck driver from the Rhein-Lahn district was slightly injured. The misfortune happened when the senior's motorhome came off the road for an unknown cause, which was touched by traffic island and collided head -on with the oncoming truck.

The street had to be closed for about three hours, while the police and the traffic accident team from the Koblenz police headquarters were on site. Fire brigades and emergency services from the area also provide support. Both injured people were immediately taken to surrounding hospitals. The causes of the accident are currently being determined.
