The police security campaign: better protect children on road traffic!

Ludwigshafen, Deutschland - As part of the "Safe.Mobil.leben- Kinder Awilft" campaign, the police in the Vorder- und Südpfalz reinforced their control of traffic safety for children! Over 120 civil servants searched 53 checkpoints and initiated a comprehensive review to make school routes and kindergartens safer. A total of 749 vehicles were checked in an impressive commitment, with 171 violations being determined. Particularly alarming: 33 drivers put their children in the car without proper fuse (belt or child seat) - a dangerous negligence!

In addition, school children from Ludwigshafen had the opportunity to visit the Ludwigshafen 2 police inspection, where they learned everything about "bicycle" and "dead angle" in an exciting two -hour prevention event. The highlight was an action -packed bicycle course in which the children were able to demonstrate their sense of traffic safety.
