Violent raids in Mainz: pepper spray and batons shake the city!

The police were called to a brutal incident in Nieder-Olm on Friday evening at 9:00 p.m. A 16-year-old adolescent was attacked with a telescopic cuttail without warning after he met a perpetrator behind the Ludwig-Eckes Hall. The attacker suddenly pulled the stick, threatened the victim and struck several times. The teenager was able to save himself in a nearby supermarket, while the perpetrator fled to town center.

The violence continued at night: Around 1:00 a.m., an eyewitness reported another pepper spray use at a street festival in Nieder-Olm. A 20-year-old man was hit in the face several times, whereupon a complicity immediately used pepper spray. Uninvolved passers -by also suffered injuries from the attacks.
