Fraud in Mainz: 32-year-olds loses 9,000 euros to telephone fraudsters!

On Tuesday morning, June 11, 2025, a 32-year-old woman from Mainz was victim of unscrupulous telephone fraudsters who spends an issue as a bank employee. The perpetrators captured an incredible 9,000 euros! During the call, the injured party was caused to reveal their online banking access data under the pretext of a security check. The fraudsters then logged into their account and initiated several transfers.

The police urge to warn: Never give personal or financial information on the phone! Official authorities never ask about money or valuables and do not collect them. If in doubt, you should put on immediately and contact the police under emergency number 110. Security is going on!
